Will and I found plenty of fine turns across the way from the ski area. Thanks to the speedy trailbreaker (with husky) for the fine skintrack! All aspects had nice snow early, retreating into the cool and shady as the sun did its work.  Limited windloading at the very ridgetops (I'd been expecting more, with 60 mph gusts recorded), but nothing moved all day- the slab was there in places, but weak layers and propagation were not evident. On tree/terrain sheltered ridgetops, surface hoar to 1/4"+ seems to have grown after the storm.  Suncrusts/warming layers (rounds) present on sunny aspects below the storm snow. Good skiing, particularly in the shade, even on the way home after 3pm.
