I was up at Mt. Hood Meadows working on menu chalkboards for some of the food service areas. With all the new snow I had to get out to explore. We cruised around the Mitchell Creek area and up Vista Ridge a ways. Still thin in spots, but considering it is early November, coverage is amazingly good. And blue skies! Not a bad day of work. We were politely reminded by ski patrol of the "no uphill travel" policy. We (mostly) stayed just outside of the permit area on the south boundary.
