First season storms deposited a reported 40 inches of fresh at Paradise for the patient to have their way with it on Sunday.

Normally with new snow on bare ground we’d be bottoming out on rocks and deadfalls but the storms laid the snow in right side up with the wet heavy stuff on the bottom consolidating nicely and the fluff on the top resulting in only about 12 to 18” of ski penetration and great skiing snow.

Hope it just keeps snowing like that until April Smiley
