We were not the only ones to think ourselves clever - skiing Halloween bowl on Halloween, for which we were grateful since the directions we had were vague and the well established skintrack told us where to go.
The van made it to about a mile short of Schofield Pass. From there, it was about 40 minutes up through the trees, and another 40 or so to the top of the bowl where we dropped in. The folks who were there an hour or two before us had better snow, but we had no complaints.
