Lincoln City, OR - Nelscott Reef

this place is home to some of the biggest waves on the OR and CA coasts. Last week it hosted its annual big-wave contest. This was early to have these types of waves. These surf "storms" are good for they can go hand in hand with snow-storms.

Yeah I saw this on the news a few days ago, I had no idea that Lincoln City got such big-ass waves, hopefully this will equate to big-ass snow!  Here's some pics from the reef I found online:

- merk, shmerk, thanks for the info. I just go to Surfline for pics. but that's the main photographer ! as i eluded to in an earlier post the ocean and the precip go hand in hand. we actually call it Aleutian juice !!
