Since I see this mountain from my alley, I decided that I finally had to ski the nice East facing glades visible from the towns of Roslyn and Ronald.  I started at Kachess Ridge/Easton Ridge trailheads at exit 70 (for Easton State Park).  I was able to hike up Easton Ridge trail and Domerie Divide Trail to 4400 feet.  The top of Baldy is only 5107 feet so I was dissappointed at the amount of recent snow melt.
Once on top I took a 1200 vertical run off the east ridge in a great glade.  Snow turned to mush at 4000 feet and I sent a nice growler down the gully.  Skinned back up to the top and then was able to link turns to 4000 feet on soft corn down the south side of Point 4942 where I picked up the trail back out.
Season here is pretty much over, it's sad.
