- thanks to a near avg. winter, and the cool June, the snowpack (where there is) is hangin in there. since last week, the surface has become more bumpy. there are a couple sections left that are still skiable. this will probably last for another week or two. * a side-note, at the parking area (8,500 ft) the melt-water from the snow-removal piles had an overnight re-freeze, inspite of hot temps. Turn-ON !

- thanks Dan, they say you're on Cascade Climbers. I was checkin' it. I can squeak out turns into the start of Aug. & Mammoth opened Nov. 2nd - so that's 9 months, about avg.
