Charles is this causing a spike in traffic?

From today's NWAC report:

---

Some summaries of significant reports partly from www.turns-all-year.com follow. Ski tourers near the Baker Ski Area on Saturday were causing large sluffs of recent snow. At Stevens on Skyline Ridge on Saturday 1 jump in a Rutschblock test caused the recent 14 inches of snow to slide on the mid March crust. Tourers near Source Lake at Snoqualmie on Saturday witnessed large wet snow avalanches. Ski tourers at about 5500 feet at Blewett Pass on Friday triggered several 5 inch soft slab avalanches on the crust on 36-38 degree northeast to east facing slopes. One fractured about 400 feet across the slope where snow had been warmed by direct sun. No signs of instability were seen on lower angle north facing slopes. Ski tourers at White Pass on Friday saw debris from a recent 16 inch x 50 yard fracture on a north slope at about 6000 feet.

Nothing noticable, but of course it would take a lot of extra traffic to make a significant blip in the massive number of hits this site receives. ;)

I think that this indicates what great snow info all of the TRs contributors are posting. Especially with the upcoming seasonal shutdown of ski areas and regular NWAC forecasts, keep up the good work!
