Opting for a longer carry but more sunshine we headed east...
The skis were on our backs until Ingalls Pass, after which we dropped into the basin and traversed toward the lake.  We ascended S. Ingalls Pk. via the N. Couloir then skied from the summit back down the couloir to the basin.  Traversed into the headwall of the basin and ascended Pt 7168 (?) at the head of the cirque to get one more nice long run at the end of the day.  An easy traverse back over to Ingalls pass and we back in our shoes and on the trail.
The basin was filled with fat snow coverage interspersed with rock islands.  Should be good for a while at least if you don't mind the carry up the pass.
Loads of goats out and curious about the insane humans carrying boards...
