Frequent snow showers last two days - lots of fluff in sheltered areas, lots of wind scour and soft-slab elswhere.
From the parking lot at 4k ft skied up to the basin and slopes on Norse Pk ridge, also over to Cement basin and vicinity (5K+ft). The touchiest snow we found was in steep lee, N facing slopes above 5K ft where this wks snow had fallen on a smooth icy crust. Lower down, and esp S facing, the crust is not so bullet-proof and looks to have rec'd "better" bonding. 0 to 8 inches blown around. Not thick enough to support a turn w/o hitting the crust. I would not trust anything above last wks crust.
