I did a solo day trip to Mt. Jefferson of Saturday. I went up from Pamelia Lake TH to the PCT and then up a gully next to the SW Ridge. There was snow just above the PCT (~4,700 ft). I was in the fog/clouds/drizzle until about 7,000 feet when I emerged into the sun and blue skies.
The winds were howling and the skiable snow ran out around 9,700 ft. so I didn't summit. Here's the pinnacle from my high point:
The ski down was a treat on creamed corn in the bowls. I picked my way down the gullies through the trees and was able to ski to just above the PCT. After switching back to sneakers, the trail out was a delight with the wild flowers in bloom and the creek flowing strong.

Cool pics. Good to see a report from Jefferson.
