"White River Road to Campground

Scheduled to open May 20, conditions permitting"

Does any one have a feeling for whether this will "actually happen"?  A little atypical to open mid-week for these guys.

There was plenty of snow on the road last week. My experience is half the time the right hand does not even know what the left hand is doing in the park. The truth is that I could ask a ranger about certain access and get a completely different answer from another ranger 20 feet away.
I would say no to the road opening, so please prove me wrong.

They changed the date on the website to the 22nd today.
I stopped by the office and they are still iffy, because the WR ranger station does not have water, that's from one source. Who knows the real story?

When dealing with a bureaucracy keep asking till you get the answer you want. Then take down thier name! this works for not only for National Parks but also  L&I ,Social Security,Planning departmants ,inspectors of all stripes and of course all Busineses/Corporations  as well. Banks are not exempt.Chris sakes even the Boy scouts and most of all priests/ministers/chaplins etc.
