With Thursday's warm weather, I thought I'd make a "sick day" pilgrimage to Camp Muir. The main snowfield was pretty wind ravaged, however, the steep shot coming down from Anvil Rock (skiers left from Muir) was superb - an inch or 2 of smooth corn on top of hardpack. I skied down on to the Paradise Glacier (looks to be in excellent shape) and then cut right back on to the Muir Snowfield. It was so good I had to do it again. A good tour would be to stay on the Paradise and head back via Cowlitz Rocks. I headed back to Paradise by skiing way over to skier's right where it was a little smoother, then down to Pan Point from there.
