Snow conditions:
Slides observed Fri in Silver Basin on anything with sun on it.
Whoomphing heard all three days, S and E aspects above 5000 ft.
New snow starting to freeze under the trees.
Best skiing on ridges where last weeks three feet of snow was scoured and on S face windward slopes that had melted down to a half foot or less of butter.
