Started Skining up at 10:30. Several inches of new snow which had also received some rain. The top layer was saturated as demonstrated by Rick wringing out the water.
The sun played peek-a-boo with the clouds all day reducing the impact of sunlight.
At the top Moonlight bowl was visable with some shots of recent activity.
Moonlight Bowl
The ski down was fun and fast. I kicked out a point shear? (I'm learning the Avi Jive) not a large cleavage section? (is this the right jive?)
We stayed out of the southern front chutes. The drive down highway 2 on the way out showed most had activity. The upper summit came out on the way down
(Upper Summit-Skyline Ridge)
The snow face below the cat track was fun without a lot of grabby snow.
Whew, that was my first post and wasn't too painfull. I don't know if the pics posted. I am using flickr? Any advice?
