The road still has snow to well below the Lower TH. Park as were you can. From lower TH to Upper TH, we only encountered small patches of snow. From the Upper TH, to the forested area just below the Chute, on small patches remain. From the Chute above, "Priceless". There still remains a heavy, deep snowpack from the summit to well below the Chute, and it runs out in the forested area below the Chute. After our "crack of noon" start, the snow was a nice corny consistency. The "Mayday", bluebird conditions were nothing less than awesome. (We could see the Pacific, Olympus and all of the major Cascade volcanoes and peaks...
