Eric and I had a nice civilized half-day tour Friday on Mt. Snoqualmie finding high quality stable corn. We skiied the east facing bowl towards Commonwealth from just east of the summit enjoying great conditions except for some sketchy isothermal snow on steep slopes lower down. We skiinned north to a high point on the ridge connecting Snoqualmie and Lundeen and dropped down onto the north side towards the Middle Fork for about 1000' vertical. Finding a day-or-two-old bootpack we cruised back up to the ridge and made our final descent back towards Cave Ridge, down Cave Ridge and into the Phantom where the skiing was expectedly mushy but suprisingly skiiable. Back in town by 5:00 p.m. with about 5500' vertical or so on the day.
great picture!
