April 25 Crystal

Pretty similar condition to Sq pass one.
Took wife, Stewie and Chugach up Crystal into Avy Basin.
Some sucker holes but nothing really softened up much apart from low angle stuff.

I was standing in Avy Basin below Hourglass when I heard voices and saw about 6 people on the ridge leading to the King. Next moment one starts glissading down from near where  the run Sassquatch is. Eventually all six glissaded down and in fine form I might add. Think it was a Mountaineers trip.

Chugach's first trip of the touring season and he was lagging behind at the end. Too many treats and the easy life while I've been lift skiing. Dog needs to get in shape!
