- the snow (at upper elevations) has underwent the change to corn conditions. we had a good warm-up this week to do this. there is however snow which is left-over from a recent storm which is still a bit mushy. all in all we're a few weeks behind schedule, which is not all that bad, as the main resort which is still open, Mammoth, hasn't started melting. so as I reported earlier in the month, the possibilities are endless. the Tioga Pass road from 395, should open to the crest in the next week - happy turnin'
