In case you guys didn't see this. Hopefully they buy themselves some equpment and training to learn how to not need it. I think to Jim Okers point on "comfort zones" in the Moonlight bowl thread - you don't need to be on a snowmobile to talk yourself into a bad decision.<br><br>Although if you're riding one in powder, well, you've already made a bad decision! <br><br>Glad to hear this story had a happy ending, though.

I'm a bit concerned about the head of Kittitas S&R, if he really thinks odds are 1 in 10,000 for a live recovery after 20 minutes. Conventional wisdom says the odds are more like 1 in 2, which implies a certain urgency in rescue efforts.
