Just thought I let folks know about the Slot. Couple good climbing tracks set in the Phantom and trees. Safe climb, but definite recent soft slide activity on exposed slopes. Needed to rush across a couple areas that were softening. I started a little late (10:30a) so needed to push up fast on the climb to beat the sun. Warming temps got to 50's by noon, but I was able to get in the Slot by 11:30a and back to car by 1p. Slot was pretty cruded up and hardly epic, but worth the exercise. Would recommend an earlier start (before 9a) to have a more relaxed tour of it. Here's a quick shot of the upper bench to give you an idea of the crud. Looks like it's getting some slight melting in the afternoon and setting up in the evening.
