Easter Saturday, we were off early for "firmer" conditions. Well the snomo track was fairly firm, but off it was two foot deep slush, tough trailbreaking. After an hour of this good exercise, and wondering how the heck we would descend it safely, I turned over the lead to Wolfi, who almost immediately found firmer conditions as we got above the birch forest. Not bad exercise, good skiing on firm corn up high. On the trail home we saw lots of Norwegian Easter weekers, age 4-90 or so, and a overfull parking lot.
Love the flag representation. Ballard would be proud. ;)
