We skied a north (by a bit north-west) aspect just to the east of Mt. Hood. Descending by 9:30am. Shade protected snow from 6000'-5000' was fantastic. Below 5000' was getting sticky even in the shade. East facing sun exposed open slopes on the approach were sketchy and we took the time to avoid them.
