I spent a week in heaven last week. On Saturday my parents, brother and sister-in-law, and a few friends flew into the Valhalla Mountain Lodge to celebrate my brother’s 40th year. Milestones are nice, especially when weather cooperates. We flew in on the heals of a storm and then surfed the weather for the next seven days. Storm-powder-sun cycles became the norm. As did meals only a mom and dad could prepare. Ending a day of skiing with wood fueled sauna, hot shower, Fat Tire, cassoulet and freshly made cheesecake sure beats working. So does spending time with people you care about in a beautiful setting doing what you love. Here are some pics….

Great trip Ryan. Glad you caught the weather/storm cycle. March and April can be so good for powder skiing. Hope to get out with you again this spring.

No better time than that spent with family and good food in the mountains.
