got 2,000ft the quick and dirty way this morning at hyak. people had to be to work so it seemed like the most reasonable option with considerable avy conditions above 4,000.
a "not so fun to ski" crust up to about 2,700ft, then the top 500 was pretty sweet. compression test showed CT23 Q3. the inversion made the top really nice. the sun made me smile.

Right on! I was out for the brunch patrol up Hyak to head over to Catherine and Radio for a few hours, must have been your signatures I saw.
Did you all do two laps? If not, sorry to burst your bubble, but Hyak frontside is only about 1100' give or take a few lines.
That not so fun crust down low turned in to not as fun mashed by 1430.
