British Columbia logging roads? was created by silaswild
Where can I find up to date maps or aerial photos of BC logging roads? Also, how to find out where they are gated?

TerraServer has taken down most of their non-US imagery but is worth a periodic check.

You might also try:

airphotos.nrcan.gc.ca/index_e.php (for sale)

archivetool4.digitalglobe.com/ot/Map.jsp;jsessionid=iwj6chzs11 (limited coverage and free stuff is fairly low resolution)
Given the fact that wars over logging are still going on in B.C., how about contacting one of the environmental groups up in B.C.?

I did find one neat B.C. government link regarding air photos:

srmwww.gov.bc.ca/bmgs/airphoto/IMF/Index.htm

Unlike the U.S., Canada isn't as "public domain" friendly when it comes to geodata or other related products.

Canada's base map product was called TRIM & was completed around 1996. It's based on a 1:20,000 map scale. Apparently they're updating information due to newer forestry & fish regulations. More info:

srmwww.gov.bc.ca/bmgs/trim/trim/trim/default.htm
