The next day in Stewart is sunny and bluebird.  That's rare in this part of the world.  Unfortunately wind came in and messed the snow up.  We still got a tour in under cold clear skies and got to see terrain where God would ski.   Making a return to Windy Ridge again.

Without opening that dastardly old thread, I've been looking for an opportunity to concur with Mr Scotsman that there are times when a 3 pic limit seems to fall short of "the sweetspot".... Smiley

Lets not start that again. My butt is still hurting for the spanking I got Grin
I was up in Terrace last winter and met some of the guys who work on avy patrol to keep the road to Stewart and Hyder open. They do an amazing job considering the terrain.

There are several large construciton projects planned for Hyder relating to ferry and docks coming out to bid in the near future by AK DOT. I have been banned by my company from bidding these as they say I will purposely put in an extremely low price so we get the job and I can ski there.

An amazing part of the country. Thanks Lee for reminding me.

Not a start, friend, just a better ending.
