It was light, it was deep it was fluffy. Skied North facing slopes that definately were showing signs of instability. This light stuff will most surely slide on steep pitches and wind loaded areas. Trees were kind, upper open areas were very nice but slid with ski cuts. First unstable layer as of 10am yesterday was 4-6" deep, sitting on another layer about 8" that was also looking pretty bad. So, in review: it's time to be careful out there. Go, enjoy, be safe. Sorry no pics, it was just blowin' too hard for me to be anything but unselfish.
