Fresh snow in Voels today and cloudy weather for breakfast had me figuring on a town day, but Wolfi had another idea. Off we went for a long way (more than 20 minutes) on the autoroute to a town where we began driving uphill as far as possible. I think he called our route the Green Gully and said it would be good tree skiing. It turned out to be the best day of the trip so far. Excellent open skiing at the start in 15-20" of powder, sort of what it sounds has been the rule lately at Snoqualmie Pass?!

Sounds like I'd feel right at home there. Yanna looked a bit like that last shot of Wolfi at points today.
