Karl and I decided to try to get ahead of the storm and hiked out from the top of Double Diamond to ski Wenatchee bowl. Beautiful snow, and decent stability (in the morning). Storming hard all day. From the bottom of the run, we skinned up to the top of Yodelin, finding fairly tiring trail breaking. The run down to the old ski area was great, with more fantastic snow. Left the camera at home, unfortunately.
Good to see that you are still alive and kicking,Ross. I haven't heard anything from you all winter.I will likely make one more trip down to Stevens Pass in the next month; I will let you know when and maybe we can hook up on the mountain.
