Four AARPers and a young one in his 40s showed up. Cloudy, low 20s, cool E wind. Things got off to a better start than Thor's day as only 1 important item between the 5 of us was forgotten vs 1 of 3 on Thor's day. For variety we decided to ski Moonlight before the N side of Heather. Ski penetration was less than half that of Thor's day, but pretty good powder could be found, tracks from yesterday were filled in by wind. Some aspects were more sun damaged than the backs of our necks. Conversation was more jovial than the morbid recollections of Thor's day because we didn't release anything this time. Finally, after 4 laps, we remembered we were supposed to go to the N side of Heather. Ski pen was about the same but less wind or sun effect. The ski down from Skyline lake provided more variety with igloos, tents, wind and sun crust, people, dogs, and their excrement being imposing obstacles. Made it back to the car uninjured. Another good day.
