Taking the road around to the western side was a nice way to avoid the tougher low elevation snow. From the bottom of the slide path to where I ran out of time a little under 5k was exceptional skiing. The best was at the top with powder over the boottops. The only observed instability was the top couple inches sloughing during turns. It was a beatiful day.
