WA Cascades West Slopes North (Mt Baker)

Tobae, Tim and I had a superawesome day in the Baker bc. Got a 7 am start from the Heather Meadows lot and skied 6000+ on N facing slopes ending up at the White Salmon lot. Temps in the shade below freezing, low RH during day and night time has allowed for snowpack staying very dry on N and NE aspects. Morning sun on slopes has not made a crust, but afternoon sun has made corn conditions and a hard crust in the morning on S through W aspects. Large surface hoar on aspects protected from wind and sun. Could be a tricky layer once it starts snowing again. Go get some N facing goodies!
