Baker was nice last wk-end. Rainier was better Wed and Thur.
Tried for the Nisqualy Icefall but got too much snow. Great ski down Thur.
Muir and above 2' powder over a quality 2 or 3 shear crust of some kind. Waist deep in many pockets (Nisqualy Icefall).
Muir down to Pebble Cr. the powder got thinner and more unevenly distributed untill by Pebble Cr. the powder depth was only about 6".
Downhill of Pebble Cr. we experienced some skiiable sun-crust and much less fresh snow.
My WAG for the wk-end would be that the sun crust will become much less fun, so head for sunny melted crust areas down low or go high for powder.
Would have been a good few days to take many trail breakers up to the summit via ( DC) for a great ski down?
