We skinned up to the base of Pan point through Edith basin and found variable and mostly crummy snow conditions and decided to traverse over to Mazama ridge from the base of Pan. Mazama Ridge turned out to be excellent powder with a little bit of crusties about a foot down...but still really good. Did a bunch of laps on the ridge along with about 10 or so other people out there skiing it. The larger faces were still untracked mostly at about 2:00....good day. We took the road back at 3:30 or so and made for a nice tour with some yo-yo's.
