ski/rode mostly north facing aspects in the vicinity of paradise today in 10-14" of light fluffy powder with alpymarr. not blower, but very nice. widespread hoaring. south/sun facing aspects had a thin, breakable, skiable crust, which we avoided, but north and shaded aspects were offering up bouncy powder turns all day. stability was... ok. saw some smallish point-triggered shallow slabs, mostly where it had been hit by the sun and/or on convexities. perfect powder conditions for skinning laps.
Skiing was very good up there, glad we went to the more northerly faces. Gotta love the corniced knob. Should remain good for a while if the temps stay low and the sun shrouded. Relieved to finally get some snow in my face and get off the horrid crust.

We were over on unicorn and the castle that day...snow was good! Almost got locked in the park it was so hard to leave ;)

Yeah, I think that you pulled up behind me at the gate. Pickup truck with beers?
