Silas,

Congratulations on your retirement !

I'm certain a lot of folks assumed that you were retired but I can validate that you have been somewhat employed for years.  I look forward to many more real time trip reports via your Iphone, seeing you sleeping in your Toyota and breaking trial for us senior citizens.

Welcome to the club.

Zap & Jill

That explains why you've been tempting me to get out so often these days!
Congratulations, Silas. It couldn't have happened to a nicer backcountry skier. Lead us all into Turns All Week.

Now this is a retirement that will be put to good use -- why, you could even ski every month for years on end.
Oh, wait, you already do that . . . well, either way, enjoy!

Silas, I hope this whole bad ski season thing isn't your fault!

Just kidding. Hopefully, there'll be a better ending to this season and you'll get to enjoy lots of turns.

Congratulations.

The season's not that bad, just more challenging. ;-) After all, you had a great couple days this week. Dogonne it, I was still working.

All you lurkers out there with free time, let me know when you want to head out for a ski day. Thanks Charles, for connecting us all.

Silas,

You lucky bastard! I may have to take early retirement ;)

Why isn't there an option for mid-life retirement. LOL. I'm going to have to press congress for social security at 30-50 years old.

Congratulations Silas! With you out there touring all the time, you may struggle to find partners to keep up with you. Go easy on us employed weekend warriors. Cheers to your retirement!!

Thank goodness, you'll finally be able to ski...

Wait, what?

I have that edge material, by the way -- bring the ailing ski by whenever you want.
