seattle boot fitters? was created by 1yen
Hey,

I finally got myself a new pair of AT boots (Garmont Endorphins...thank-you tramdock.com !). Now I need to get them fitted...heat mold for the liner, footbeds, and probably other adjustments and tweaks.

Does anyone have good recommendations for a good boot fitter in Seattle? I have used REI for ski tech issues, and am always happy with their work, but have no experience with their boot people.

Any suggestions would be mucho appreciated!

thks,

dan

For a serious analysis of your foot, stance and skiing preferences, as well as custom footbeds and anything else you might think of in terms of ski boots, I think Jim Mates is your best bet.

206 297 9298. He's in Ballard on 65th St.

I second the Jim Mates recommendation. His boot fitting, boot alignment and insole construction etc. is excellent.

Try Steve Forsythe of Centerline Skiing in Bellevue, 105 102nd Ave Se 425-451-3869.
He has been doing custom footbeds 40+ years, worked with World Cup skiers and is the best!
