Haven't really participated with the TAY crowd and I'm looking to change that.

Did a two day trip up to the north Face of Shuksan on inconsistent wind-packed or powdered snow. Found ourselves up too late for a summit attempt. We skied down the Upper Curtis  (corn/thin powder) and White Salmon glacier (corny and then a thin powder and then a hard crunch layer). Seemingly safe snow all around. This was my first time up there and look forward to getting up there again.

Here is the full TR that went on the UW climbing club board.

were you guys up below the false summit around 2? i think i saw you from the ski area if it was you... nice job. figured the snow would have been a bit interesting up there.

Aye, that's around when we were up there. There was another party of 3 that was up there at ~2:30.  I was surprised at the snow up there also, because I thought the inversion would have melt-frozen everything. Glad that it wasn't anything unpleasant like that!

Way to get up there in these spring like conditions. Shuksan can be a pain in the winter! Either way, awesome to see your pics and hear your story.
