Look at how little snow remains on the south bowl headwall. Still worth it for turns, a little gloppy at the bottom of the bowl. The north side got enough melt/freeze to get crusty but not enough to corn up. Gorgeous April we're having, eh?

At least you had something!  Mt. Townsend had nada!

Went up to Hurricane ridge on our way home from the Olympic Peninsula today and was surprised how much snow looked like it had melted.

I skied it yesterday. There was still enough to keep the skis on snow all the way up and back but just barely. I looked at Townsend on the way over there, it sure looked bare.

shoot... was hoping to get some turns there soon, but looks like the commute wouldn't be worth it...
