Turned back by impenetrable cattails attempting to link tour of Silver Creek with Rural Ave. Otherwise, the Whatcom Co. Wildlife Areas are in prime shape. The BP, Lake Terrell and Nooksack units cover 3500 acres, are snow covered and offer trail head parking for those who cannot ski from their doors.
