A rare chance to ski the Chuckanuts; first time in 3 years. Conditions were great -this steqdily steep trail was a delight. Tomorrow Fragrance Lake and above.

Do you think Fragrance Lake is skiable up from the Larabee SP trailhead on Chuckanut drive?
I skiied it that way today, and then up to Cleator Rd. There is much less snow on the Fragrance Lk trail than on the Pine and Cedar trail. I didn't do any damage to my skis, but I wouldn't recommend it. Weather permitting I'll try Lily and Lizard Lakes tomorrow (though the forecast is not promising).
Yes, looks like snow vs rain is going to hang in the balance locally in the next couple of days. Hopefully there will be just a little more lowland skiing for the holiday days when it's not possible to take the whole day out.
