Highland Park Way Couloir West Seattle Range 12-20

I decided that their was enough snow in the local back country this afternoon for a descent of the Highland Park Way Couloir. I put my skins in my backpack and walked out of the garage to the couloir. Thirty seconds later I arrived to find early season conditions with a nice layer of fresh powder on top. No compression tests or beacon would be necessary this afternoon.  I ended up doing two laps up and down the couloir. By the time I started my second descent the snow was really starting to come down hard so I was really pumped!!

Tomorrow I look forward to hitting up some more secret stashes in the West Seattle Range.  The dumping we have had since about 3:30pm to now should fill in everything very nicely.
