After the sledding with my daughter and the neighborhood kids was taken care of and they were in for hot chocolate, started at more or less Lake Whatcom level and went up the logging road about 1,000 vf in 12" of light powder.  Even the most mundane terrain suddenly becomes beautiful with just a bit of snow.  A big storm was supposed to be pending (arriving much later as it turns out) so turned back and had a good powder run with only a few dings.  If a decent amount of new arrives in the next cycle, this will actually be skiable for a coiuple of weeks.  Snow did not get deeper higher up, it was all about a foot.
