With snow at sea level in port angeles today, we were praying they would open the ridge road.  miracle of miracles it happened at 11 am!  Drove up solo and happened across t-shirt mike and his friends, all telemarkers.  introductions were exchanged with yours truly the friendly splitboarder, and away we went.  skinned out to the toilets and made a couple of runs on the toilet bowl before heading back out.  conditions were decent- about a foot of pow with some grass still poking thru.  had to watch out for the wolf creek trail dip about half way down the hill.  wonderful olympic snow has returned!
