December 15, 2008, what a difference a day makes!

Back to Baker today after reading of wind affected snow most everywhere else. Got a late start hoping to find warmer temps, I guess it was warmer, but it was also windier than yesterday. That did not seem to deter 15-20 eager skinners, tho we bailed after finding our first run on the south side of Table somewhat slabby. Found a nice sunny sheltered spot in the trees for lunch on the way out. Hope this high is gone by the weekend and we get some more sub freezing precipitation and calm winds.
Thanks for the report, was thinking of heading up there tomorrow, but maybe I'll wait now and go somewhere else tomorrow.
