I headed up with one of our expecting to hike with skis on the pack, but was pleased to find 4" in the lot. Skinned from the clock tower, though lots of terrain showed, which made it best to go up the maintenance road. Up Skid Road, then 12" fresh on Jupiter that got thinner and thinner until I reversed tracks at 4300'. Left the pack above the power lines to lap the upper good stuff again, then down, with several kick turns in the rocks. Snowed the whole time with some wind; 3" fell on my car in about 4 hours.
modified because I did not realize it was on a sunday... makes sense now!

Good call Mack. Telemetry reflects some good convergence action at Stevens recently. It may not be much longer till the wheels start a turnin' ;D
