Found a variety of snow conditions as five of us skied to the head of Commonwealth Creek. Stopped around 5700' below Lundin Peak as snow appeared more and more wind affected. The ski back down was good by NW standards, but the past week has us spoiled, so we headed for the east slopes of Guye to find better snow for our next run. No sun or wind crust there, tho under the trees we found a pretty hard rain(?) crust below 8" of powder. Some other skiers had kindly paved a route back to the Alpental road with minimal uphill. Thanks.
Snowing lightly all day, tomorrow should be great too.
