The wait might be over, Road 73 gate open at huckleberry creek. 3" at Eleanor creek 5800' Grand Park 6" and snowing hard. Stiff wind in open areas in Grand Park .No turns just kick and glide on the trail Lots of people cutting xmas trees in the permit area and stopping at Greenwater for refreshmnets. I got my Fetivus pole .

I was up there last week and there was very little snow (patches).
The road was hennas, with wet ice the last 1/4 mile to the trailhead.
Glad you got in some glide time.

Robie I didn't know you where a Festivus devotee! Me too.!!! My favourite part of Festivus is " the airing of the greivances". Such fun. I love Festivus!

... maybe we should see about installing a Festivus Pole at the state capitol? I'm sure there are plenty of people who would like to air their grievances. We could put it right between the manger scene and the atheist plaque. Bill O'Reilly would have a field day!

Oh yeah, I LOVE FESTIVUS! I can't wait to sit around at the family dinner and tell all of my family members all the things that I think they should improve or work on!
