Well, at 7+ months prego, I needed to take it easy. Derek (my husband) and I had a leisurely morning and didn't start up Stevens Pass ski area until 12:30 or so. We were greeted by endless views, blue sky, and about 8" of fresh, absolutely light, bottomless powder. We just headed to the top of the skyline chair, had a nice snack in the sunshine, and enjoyed fresh, powdery turns the whole way down. Only a few rock hits here and there-nothing a good waxing can't fix. It was a stunning day and we were not the only ones to partake in the freshies, but due to our late start, we had the mtn to ourselves and STILL had fresh tracks. Not too shabby....can't wait for more snow! Sorry...no photos ready to post.
